TMA logoTransition Minehead and Alcombe is a group that was set up in 2009 with the aim of Minehead and Alcombe becoming a Transition town. Below is some information about the transition town movement.

What is a transition town?

A transition town is one which is taking positive steps to becoming less dependent on outside resources such as food and fuel, and trying to meet more of its needs locally, creating a more certain future for its children and a confident, thriving local economy and community.

More information about transition towns is available at www.transitiontowns.org
