Forum 21 - Towards a Sustainable West Somerset

Forum 21 is a voluntary group based in West Somerset dedicated to raising environmental issues and fighting climate change. It takes its name from the "Agenda 21" movement formed to take the message of local sustainability through into the 21st century.

Tree bulbSince its launch in 1998 Forum 21 has been responsible for numerous local initiatives, such as the successful Minehead farmers market. More recently the group has cooperated with West Somerset Council on the production of a Community Climate Change strategy.

Regular meetings about issues of local and national concern are held in the area, usually in Watchet.

If you'd like to get involved or be kept informed of activities you can register under "How to get involved". Forum 21 offers you the chance to make a difference for the environment.
